Hey folks, it's been a long time since we got any kind of photo gallery going here, and T. Erdelyi's thread got me thinking that it was about time, so how about starting with a nice common one, the barlows. Let's see what you've all been up to these past months/years, and if you've got a pic of one that's already up here, post it anyway, the more the merrier! Here are a few to get things rolling (some of these are repeats from the past):

Thanks Eric.

I found this one as well. It is "In the Family" I'd suppose.

Eric - I'm lovin that Saw Cut Bone Cut Co. I'm also noticing the 80th Anniversary of yours is jigged bone instead of Delrin. That the one that comes in a wooden box?

some shown already, but what the heck!

Nice barlows thawk and Rusty! Thawk, yes that 80th Anniv. came in a felt lined oak box with the pouch. It also has some sweet file-work, possibly Herman Williams? I've included a pic of the whole set below. This one is actually a different knife from the one above, it's a salesman's sample -SS30- from a guy that lived in Rock Hill, NY (about 20 minutes from me). Unfortunately his name escapes me at the moment. He must have shown it to a lot of folks judging by the wear on the hinges!
I've also posted as shot of the Stuyvesant barlow in it's original satin lined box. This is a bone knife as well. I think both of these knives were made in issues of 500 each, but I'm not positive on those numbers:

Here's another Stuyvesant barlow. This one's based on the 206 frame, has a delrin handle with scrim, and came in the woodgrain cardboard box with a green felt insert. It was made in greater numbers as it was more affordable. This was how Schrade did a lot of the commemorative/anniversary knives, they'd make a premium version, usually bone or stag of say 500, then a staglon or delrin version of say 10,000, and then often an unlimited slippy version, like a carded 8OT with a scrim or special shield.

Do not have to be a Gold Menber. I think even a registered user can post JPGs using a photohosting web site.

http://www.photobucket makes it easy if:

You know how to:

1) create a JPG file on your scanner and make it a manageable size.
2) Attach the JPG to an email (photobucket gives you a personal email address to upload with)
3) Access the album in your photobucket account. Click on the IMG file spot under your picture and it will COPY the IMG link.
4) Go into your post on blade forum and do a RIGHT CLICK - PASTE right where you want your JPG to go. It puts in a funny looking code, but it will translate when you PREVIEW it.

It's easier if you can open two web pages at one time.

Those are the basics. I am a fairly acccomplished computer user and I struggled with it at first. If you know how to COPY and PASTE, it will be a snap.

Once you get the concept with photobucket as a picture hosting site, it is a piece of cake to upload a JPG and post in a matter of a few seconds.

Nice ones Charlie! I'm still searching for a peachseed barlow, they're proving to be very elusive. Those Ulsters are sweet! I still can't believe the pristine condition you find these things in:thumbup:

Welcome to the fold Mike:D
