We all know people are trying to use the Friends and Family to avoid the 1099. It leaves reporting the income up to the seller.

It seems to be showing that people who will go out of their way to avoid taxes will also rip off a fellow knife collector...

Unfortunate.

I certainly hope you are leaving negative feedback for these users.

Also pay by Goods and Services only. Looks like the excuse to avoid a 1099 is also turning into a way to cheat honest buyers...

I am going to leave negative feedback tonight.
 
There is no staute of limitations for deliberate failure to report income "from whatever source derived." It is classified as criminal tax fraud and can be prosecuted until death. If they catch you.
 
I bought a spyderco spyde chef from him almost a month ago and the transaction was smooth....not taking any side whatsoever just stating my experience hope all is resolved soon I do believe there is mostly honest people on here
