Without a doubt, these 2 Basic 4's I recieved today, have exceeded my expectation's. Wow, they are awesome! They feel perfect in hand, and will no doubt, be great for skininng, bushcrafting, slicing, ect. I am really surprized how good the RES-C handle feel's, even superior to the Kraton handle on the Master Hunter IMO! I ordered a Anorexic and a Magnum with the full intention's of selling the one I liked the least however, I don't think I will be parting with either of them, they are that good. I through in a pic of the CABS for comparison, another must have from Busse! These 3 are sweeeeet :D

Glad you like them! I'm loving mine. The handle is so comfortable and is really full.

I agree. I wished I had gotten more:) I would love to see spine shots of the three if you have time as I didnt get the fatty:(

Hunter,
I have worried and fretted thinking I would not like the handle......... was I ever wrong on that. I hope to do a skinning review as soon as I can kill a hog.

Trevor,
Will be glad too ASAP!

congrats bud, I love mine, they are every bit as good as I thought. When Scrapyard released the Wardog I was not thrilled with the blade shape on it but the handles are the most comfortable handles imo Busse offers so when the B4 came out it was instantly a must have. I can't wait to get out to the woods and play

THe handle is a real winner:thumbup:

It reminds me of an improved res-c HG55/urban grudge type of handle.

Trevor,
You may should have got more, as they will probably be in demand after some user review's.:) I added the spine shot!

Thanks brother:thumbup:

Its looks like the fatty's profile lends itself to be a fairly effective slicer as well:cool:

I must admit I havent missed the mark on such a sweet knife offered by Busse in a long time if ever:rolleyes::D

I got so hung up on my choiless CABS , my 27 War DOGS  and the rest that I had hoarded that I figured I only needed one for my set when these werent slotted for the choiless option. Oh was I wrong:D:D

Still waiting. . . for a shipping notice. :(

I swear I was one of the first to be contacted to pay. I'm dyin, heah! Caaaaah'mahhhhhnnnnn!!! LOL

Just got mine yesterday, this is a perfect skinning knife, would have liked this in the new infi 2. But this knife will be on me for every one of my hunts. Its an hrlm in infi with res. c. I love it.

I'm not a fan of the handle on the War Dog, so I skipped out on the B4... That and I was in the hospital during the Raiders sale.

Now you all are making me wish I snagged a couple.

Lucky Hogs!

Here is a interesting comparison to the ESSE -4 which is a very popular knife in 1095.

INFI 2? Not sure what that is? Do you mean modified INFI of the old Basics? Just curious.

I aboslutely love mine!! I have been waiting for a thin hunting knive with Res C that has a little bigger handle than the Yardkeeper. I thought the War Dog was nice but this Anorexic Basic 4 is exactly what I wanted. Glad I got a........few.

There's supposed to be another version of INFI in the works that's better at edge retention rather than toughness, so it'll be useful for the types of things a knife the size of the Basic 4 is good at. The toughness of the INFI is good for chopping, but in a small knife that does more slicing and cutting and doesn't see the same type of abuse, edge retention is more of the focus.

I like the B4 also! I got 2 thinking I would get rid of one immediately, but I like em so much I think I'll keep em :) both are thin guys!

I like the B4 handle but really like the mudder handles. I asked garth if I could get a mudder on the B4 but the tangs are a different shape so its a nogo :( but still an awesome knife!
