Basic 4 / Exceeded my Expectation's!

For those who do not like the RES-C handle, I was thinking Basic-4 w/Rodent Solution handle would be pretty sweet.
As for as Basic 4's for sale, I have seen 2 on the exchange and one on feebay.
Going by the responses in this thread, I don't think everyone has recieved their's yet, so someone is probably sitting on a pile of them, not to mention you had 4 different makes. My black magnum model was #889 which I ordered right before the deadline. I am so glad I talked myself into getting both model's, it was worth the sacrafice I had to make to do it. No Regret's here. :)

I wish I could've ordered at least one of each. I'm lucky that a HOG brother was kind enough to spare me a black anorexic at a fair price. Based on the response, I'd like to find a Magnum to compare the two. Mine shipped today an should be here by Friday!

Super X, you're absolutely right about the RS handle! That would be perfection! I love Res-C on big blades, but definitely prefer Micarta on small to medium blades.
 
You're all a bunch of shaggers!!! I started out in the Busse forum looking for a BWM...A lifer blade that would last through the ages and then I add a BJLE for a just in case and now I have a Muk LE on the way. Just when I think I'm set you all start talking about this savage basic 4 and it sickens me. I need this knife! My first born is on the way and I find myself pondering on which busse I want next. Its the B4 shaggers!!! This is very sad. Time for me to step away from this place for a while me thinks. Right after the basic 4 anorexic black. Fack!
 
I am a big fan of anorexic blades, but.... The magnum actually might be my favorite. Its height combined with the flat grind makes for a very useable edge and a beefy spine for some abuse. I might actually prefer the magnum. I put it next to my CABS and while I still prefer the cabs the B4 is probably an overall more useful blade. The resC is very grippy and the guard is very effective. I don't think the cabs would be as secure in my hand if wet or bloody.

Glad to hear you got one of these Super X. This one is definitely a keeper.

Yes, the magnum is sweet and feel's awesome. It could take the abuse also and another reason to have both of them to draw from. Sometimes, you gotta get rough!

Sinjan's, I know what you mean. I want a Battle Mistress sooo bad but keep scraping money up for these other's. I will never get the money saved up at the rate I am going. This INFI/SRat addiction is killing me. I must admit, I was warned this would happen.

Flux, yes...... I would want it too. Where does it end.......... madness I tell you. I am trying to find chit to put on Ebay now to pay for my new RMD LE!! Arrrrrrrrrr......................
