Basic 4 / Exceeded my Expectation's!

just a plywood table I made in college... a bunch of my friends did art on it, one in particular is a really good graffiti artist. It definitely brings alot of color to the room!
 
Wish I had gotten more. I really like it. Wardog didn't hit me right so I was worried about this, but I love the B4. Somehow seems to be a better fit. Also seems to be a pretty good thrower.
 
I'm loving mine. can't wait to get them out in the woods tomorrow and see how they hold up for some bushcrafty tasks :) I bought mine because I love the war dog handles (guess I'm in the minority on this lol)

I would be quick with that phone call, as they are probably getting quite a few call's regarding the Basic-4. The thick one should do quite well also. If they have one I would grab it!
 
I'm really digging the Basic series I love my 10 LE and the utlitarian no BS ResC handle while it lacks style points it really is a practical handle material as far as I'm concerned.
 
I love my B4's I think I am throwing one next week :)

I'm loving mine so much, I might look for another tan magnum at a few upcoming shows. The B4 is really awesome. Loving the blade shape and it's so damn comfy. Even the magnum B4 is light and well balanced, would make a great pack knife.



And that's Busse dust on the blade there, the shop was so kind to throw it in for free :D
 
Just got a chance to open the package from the guys and gals in Wauseon, and I totally agree with all the great stuff that's been said in this thread. (I got two with black handles: one Magnum and one Anorexic.) Extremely comfortable in the hand, and even the Magnum version is more than light and small enough to throw in a pocket in a Kydex sheath rather than belt carry. As much as I like

Like others have said, this one is destined to become a classic. :thumbup:
 
I feel for you guy's that are still waiting. Surely they will arrive soon however, I know how it is, and soon is not soon enough!! I had hoped to try and get a Hog this weekend to skin, but caught a cold from Hell instead. I am am sidelined at the moment, but will get it done. :(
 
Would love to see how the 4 handles skinning a HOG. Hope you get better soon so we can see some pics.
 
Ditto. What surprised me the most is the fact that the magnum is also a pure slicer. I knew what I was getting with the anorexic and knew I would love it-like the cabs etc; but I was really pleased to see how well the Magnum's came out. Beef did a great job on both of mine too.
 
A really awesome HOG sold me one of his anorexic B4s and after reading this thread, I cannot be more excited!

The War Dog didn't do it for me, so I am very glad to hear such great feedback from others who feel the same way about the WD.

I think a piggyback setup with the B-10 will be epic.

I agree, the Magnum seem's as good as the anorexic. The magnum also feel's a little better in hand. I figured I would sell the magnum but for now, it's not going anywhere. If I had to choose one, it would be a difficult decision and I would definitely have to skin with them before I could pick a clear winner. For now, I feel pretty smug with both of them.

I'd love to see a full tang version of the B-4 blade - that or the B-4 with mudders. Bring either of those to Blade, and I'll take a handful!
 
I should have ordered more. I've only seen one on the exchange so far :(

Who's up for a second run with a Choil-less and choil option with no talon hole?
