Basic Information about Knives

Hello again!

Man... what began as a "let's just see what stuff about knives there are online" has now turned into a "let's check bladeforums every half an hour" addiction! haha.. GEEZ!

Well... I think I have basically made up my mind! I think I've learnt SO MUCH over the last few days through browsing this forum and thanks to all of your kind answers and suggestions!! I re-read this post and some of my questions make me embarrassed! haha...

For my folder of choice, it will have to be a Native. I know people love the Delica (and Endura) but I enjoy straying from the beaten path and going with something a bit different. Looking around I've found a secret cult that love the the Native, and the looks of the Native (with black blade!) does it for me.

Also for FIXED knife I will go with the RAT RC-4. The RC-6 might be a bit big and I also hear only good things about the RC-4! On top of that, it also has a black blade!

Now I just have to decide which one to get first! Or if both!! That too is becoming a very very hard decision!

Thanks heaps guys for all your input and help! I think I picked out both the folder and fixed blade gajinoz likes! haha maybe it's an Australian thing. Also thanks to the guys who suggested these knives earlier but I didn't notice until now!

Good choices, your gonna really like them and get tons of use outta them! Get us pictures when their new, then later after you've "beat them!"

the coating will come off after use, it's no big deal, we call it character and it's a good thing, it means you've been using it and it's doing it's job.
