So as of lately I've been on this Damascus Sebenza kick. I couldn't resist the KnifeArt exclusive carbon fiber with basketweave DT SS Damascus. What a sweet knife. Yes this is normally said about all CRK's folders but this one really is nice. I bought one of the original runs of CF exclusives a while back and that was a great knife. Outside the difference in blade steel for this one is the carbon scale. The first being polished, this one is matte finished and tons nicer looking and in feel IMO. It plays off very well with the Damascus blade. Scary sharp, buttery smooth, strong detent, and early lockup, make this Sebenza one of, if not the best in my collection thus far. The weight difference from the large with all Ti handles is incredible. Not sure if I can bring myself to carry it just yet. But eventually they all end up getting rotated for EDC. Dang this Damascus is kickin! The pix of the carbon fiber scales don't really show how sweet they are. This knife needs to be in hand to really appreciate.

I absolutely love the basketweave damascus. I generally am not a fan of CRK damascus, but that's a truly beautiful pattern. And yes, the weight difference is significant with the CF, really surprised me with my small cf insingo.

Love that combo you have there! I almost bought one too, but I resisted, it wasn't easy.

That is an amazing looking knife! The basket weave pattern is one of my favorite Damascus types

Thx friends. Hey.... Don't be eyeballin me boy!

Chris's attention to detail keeps getting better and better. Check out the flared stop pin to help with the carbon scale firmness. Also the smooth finish on the bottom of the blade/lock interface. Nice!

That's beautiful! I also think the blue rings in the lanyard bead are a nice touch. It keeps that accent from blade, handle to lanyard. Looks awesome!

I'm glad you got a good one! I picked one up as well, and it came with the blade rubbing the carbon fiber scale. Very bummed....

It's back at the mothership now - I hope they can make it right.....

Congrats Bro, that's a sweet knife.
I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to swing by the house to let me check that Seb out, it's stunning.
As nice as your pics turned out I have to agree that they just don't do that knife justice- I should've bought one when you have me the heads up on it.

Nice Blackend!!Oh man, I want one BAD!

Hey onespdfrk^^^ they'll get it right for ya!

That's beautiful, the basketweave's amazing. I must have the small... anybody know when the small version will come out?

onespdfrk sorry to hear that. As lemmuhj said, they will make it right. Can't say I've ever seen a Seb that rubs on the scale. I'm sure a few slip through the system now and again. Hopefully they will remedy the problem and you will be enjoying this new one soon.

Thx 1Abominable1. Glad you could enjoy it too! And no, you can't have it in trade! :D

Yeah, I was a little shocked. Never happened to me either. I'm sure they'll make it right in the long run. Looking forward to getting it back:thumbup:

For sure, this is an absolutely KILLER damascus pattern - one of the best (and with a perfect etch) I've seen lately. You, my friend, have scored awesomely on yours!
