Bass Pro Shop

I live in Springfield, MO...home of the BPS headquarters, if there is anything anyone cant find near them(within reason, I'm not going boat shopping for anyone), I'd be happy to check out the main store or outlet for them, I could probably buy it and ship it to you cheaper than what they'd ask for it in the catalog.

Oh BTW, they had a Buck Mayo TNT S30V w/ Bos heat treat on clearance when I was there the other day checking out the Surefire lights. Damn fine knife, would've bought it if I had the money, I'm sure its still there. I think they were asking 160.00, is that a good price for one of these. They also have quite a few nice William Henry's in the knife shop.

you can email me if you like

Not too impressed with the BP here---poor selection--high prices and a bunch of toothless inbreds shopping there----the best place around here is Scheels.

WOW omaha,
That sucks! Bass pro I always thought was one of the best! (cabelas also)
We have a scheels here in wisconsin. My Dad actually works there.
IF they have anything in stock it aint a good selection. NO Buck L.E. Knives.
When you go to talk to a salesman - Very opinionated. Bucks get dull easily,
Poor steel why dont you buy a benchmade or maybe a crkt...
Because I dont want one thats why. I couldnt believe to hear words like that about Buck! How the hell do they train their guys? Buck uses great steel. If they werent so cheap at scheels HQ they could buy Bucks with premium steel like Bass pro and cabelas. I do all my shopping online now...
Sorry to hijack! Hi JB4570.

Hi Jim,

No worries mate! This is an open forum discussion. Anyone can change the direction of the topic or add to it in any way they want to; as far as I’m concerned. Your in put on scheels was interesting to me; I’ve never heard of them before beenglockin brought them up.

Scheels is not as big as bass pro or cabelas. No online catalog! Just local stores. Poor ideas about Buck Knives!
Have fun on here guys!
Jim

good deal eeearl you lucky bugger
can you elaborate some on the new knives ?

Stag w/small polished white stag feather on one side ,it is someones logo that sells clothes in Bass pro shops. also with burl maple front bolster, complete dark gray chipped flint blades if you have seen the Kalinga and 103 buffalo and chipped flint blade it is that color but the blade is completely covered in the chipping instead of partial .Models 111 ,532,Alpha. pics will be later .If they don't come out I will get more tonight or tomorrow.I am not sure if pics will do these knives justice. No serial numbers but limited.

Anything with cow hoof inlays????
I dont think the cheese handle would hold up!
Jim
