Scored a BATAC tonight on a different forum, got any cool pics or thoughts on this blade you'd like to share
 
It's my favorite medium Busse! :cool:
I hope Jaxx, or some other HOG(s) will post some pix.
 
I think it's going to be too similar to the SJTAC to be worth keeping !! Interesting sheaths with this one !

I think the balance of the SJTAC is just about perfect with the TAC handles. That makes me think the BATAC would be too handle heavy for my tastes. I've had a chance at several of them, and have passed so far.


I think the only thing that'd convince me to get a BATAC is if it was coated in Bama Clay.

Who made that leather, Brendan? Is it leather wrapped around kydex, or all cow? I like it a lot!

It's one of my favorites as well! Wish I hadn't of sold it! From what I have read people usually mention the shape of the slabs and comfort issue in hand-to each hand his own. Guess you have to have knife in hand to determine whether the BATAC is right for you or not.
 
I think its one of those knives thats great if your a ONE knife suits all kind of guy. Its big enough to do batoning. It can chop, but not great at it. It can carve and do smaller work if you use the choil. I like mine, but feel it is a jack of all trades. Does everything, but not great at anything type of knife.

I prefer a designated small knife and a large chopper or axe. YMMV
 
I think Lycosa will be in heaven with that chisel grind website. :D Now if only it was Infi!
