Batoning ESEE 5 into Becker BK-2 and vice versa !!

I touched on this a few weeks ago when in a semi-snarky comment, I said an ESEE 5 could be batoned through a Becker BK-2. I put my money where my mouth is and gave it a try.

The two knives arrived yesterday.

I hope you enjoy and like the result.

I've edited this post to now include the sequel video showing it makes no difference to the ESEE 5 whether it is on top or bottom. It still gets the job done, rolls over and has a cigarette.

I did flip them. Made no difference. The ESEE just stood there and the Becker kept losing ground.

Why? You'd expect less damage on the top knife, plus it has a lower grind and thicker geometry, so is something about it supposed to be a big deal?
