Battle Grade MOAB - This has to happen

Wanting both is a sign of a true Hog! :D
Speaking of hogs, where is that fat BG MOAB and HOG B14? :)
It's not a matter of "want"..
Its a matter of who can walk closest to that line between cutlery bliss and bankruptcy & divorce...

Some would say it's a matter of "need". :)
"Cutlery bliss" and marital bliss do not always happen together. ;)

We NEED the BG MOAB and HOG B14! :D

At that blade length... wouldn't a slightly longer, larger res c handle be in order? Maybe a fusion shaped res handle..
I admit I have wondered how thick can you go on the blade and still keep the weight manageable with just a one-hand grip. With the partial height tang used on the models with the Basic Res C grip, a HOG B14 would feel more blade heavy than a MOAB (assuming both blades have the same dimensions). I'm sure the Res C grip could be lengthened, but I'm guessing it would be cost prohibitive for a relatively small number of knives sold, AND I'm afraid it would negatively impact the excellent ergonomics of the current Res C Basic grip (I absolutely love the shape and size of it).

I would much prefer the standard grip be used for a HOG B14, the same as the one on the HOG B8 and SY 1311. Would the knife be heavy, it sure would, but I still think it would be manageable even at .41" blade thickness. It would not be a knife that you would chop with all day, but on the other hand I feel the weight would be a plus especially when chopping large diameter, dense hardwood.

When (not if) Jerry says "a fat HOG B14 is coming", I'll fight to be first in line! ;):D

Oh yeah, don't forget the MOAB and BG MOAB! :)

Ya that standard grip would be fine I'm guessing...... a few more holes in the side of the house wont hurt anything..:D

That photo looks like an invitation for us to stop over, have a few beers, and do some work. :)
Well, maybe the work should happen before the beer drinking. ;)

Come on Jerry, we're waiting on the fat BG MOAB so we can go help Rob S! :D

The Regulator handle would be great! People have been asking for a chopper with that handle for a while. As soon as the regulator was released people at the yard (Sethro or Spider-Pig) started asking for a Magnum Regulator

I'ld buy a couple
