As some of you have seen, I was in the woods an my axe broke on the 3rd log.. forcing me to process all my firewood via blade.. that war trains weight and size no longer felt extreme.. it was a batoning and limbing beast. But I also got a feel for how a 14"+ blade would be a HUGE advantage in spanning the width of the logs..
It went from a want...to a NEED!!!

It was called a MOABM (Mother Of All Battle Mistresses); only 27 were made. It has a 10" long, .410" thick blade. :eek:

This is my dream - I have been calling it a "Basic MOAB", aka "HOG B14". The HOG B8 has a .35" thick blade, so I assume they could make at least a .35" thick MOAB blade and stick a Res C Basic handle on it. :cool::cool:
