I love Bowie knives and always will but the MOAB seems a bit too large to be practical for the uses I would want a Bowie for. Though, I imagine the MOAB would be a terrific chopper. The Viking Warship/Seax on the other hand, makes me tingle in unmentionable places.
 
What is battle grade as opposed to the other available grades/finishes?

I’m certain that there are countless threads you can find on the topic using the search function, as you are not the first to ask this question. There is also a section on the Busse Combat site about their steels.
