Ya know, like a sexy Momma, concave near the waist (from handle/ricasso to almost the chopping sweet spot), convex and curvy at the top (front third towers tip)!
 
Lets just go ahead and make it a 7/8" thick INFI chopper. Saw back, cut like two chain-saw chains side-by-side. With that much steel you could make the blade not hollow ground, just hollow. Then you fill it with helium and it wont be as heavy as it looks.
