Fortunately for me, that isn't my finger. I had some visitors a few months ago for a beer, bovine and Busse weekend. The MOAB was just asserting its dominance, and unfortunately for my visitor, he was on the receiving end of said dominance assertion.
 
So I only now read this from the start and I'm getting that warm fuzzy feeling about this idea. I can say a BG version would probably win me over from economics alone, I'm just not there for dropping the coin an Infi version would be. I got room to add a big chop that the BG FBM would fill a gap- but this, you can't not love that hunk of hog shavin sweetness of Robs.
I'm kind of with several of you on the blade, keep it real like it's lineage, ffg is a must. Something with cbt, well, wouldn't be the same. Now a beefy, Silent Knight bowie curve, similar blade height and spine scallops....in CF ..... OK, like Rob, that makes me a little dizzy.....and if it was Infi.....I'd seriously be f****k with that, absolute must have just imagining what that could look like.

It's getting closer to Christmas, and there's no BG MOAB email yet to put in our Christmas stockings! :(
But it's not too late! :D
 
...im waiting for this one..all spending has ceased and all my knife/gun funds are being saved for a MOAB..
Please... that would be a heck of a way to kick off 2018, with a MOAB on order :)
 
I don't say this often, but "Please" , "Pretty Please?" @.36 or .38 would be great. I so miss my original MOAB (see my avatar).

Does anyone know how SR77 compares to SR101 in the areas of:
- edge holding
- rust resistance?
 
I did some searching, and here is what I found:
- edge holding – SR101 is better than SR77
- rust resistance – SR77 is better than SR101 (although one person said the opposite)

Based on this, I would prefer SR101 instead of SR77 for the BG MOAB.

If you have results that agree or differ, please let us know.
