True, but not by much. A bottle of cheap whiskey or priority insured shipping will even up the difference, without blurting out the answer. :eek: ;)

Basic 11 is not really a stick tang. It is a full tang, just not an exposed tang.

I would never call the tang's on those stick.


I would be willing to bet that the Battle Pappy tang is pretty thick until you get to the end with the nut.
 
I really hope at some point they offer these to the general public not just show pre order.

Of course I could have gotten off my duff, and found a proxy.

Now that's what i was meaning but i guess i did not word it properly. The tang with the nut on the end of it like that. Thanks BF,
 
I don't see much of a difference in price between SAR6 LE and Battle Pappy. $497 for SAR6 LE and $583 for Battle Pappy as a show price does not make a SAR6 LE a lot cheaper. If I had the opportunity to buy Battle Pappy for that price and I had to choose between those two I would't hesitate a moment in buying Battle Pappy. But that's just me.
