Would it be a user for you Grunt ?Battle pappy. I'm sad all the time that I sold mine. Really hoping they get released during the next op2 weeks
Yea man I hear you. I managed to be very lucky and pick up a Battle Pappy. Im down to my last TGLB and it would be financially irresponsible for me to keep both. The Battle Pappy is awesome. It feels great in the hand and its light despite its thickness. But I was just thinking if it would be a mistake to sell my TGLB.It was a user yes. I loved it. Great blade and design. I liked it a lot more than the tglb.
Yeah Ill post some tomorrow after I get back home from work.I would love to see a Battle Pappy in O2W pt.2. Does anybody have pics to post?
But I was just thinking if it would be a mistake to sell my TGLB.

I think your confusing the Battle Pappy for the Battle Rat.yup...it would be, IMHO.
I find it unbelievable how many TGLB's were sold and yet when one goes up on the Exchange lately it's gone in minutes <or seconds>.
When a model like the TGLB goes discontinued it seem that it ramps up the demand.
Just recall when Busse Com. Co. shut it down...do you remember how many afi's said stuff like "I wish I'd gotten a couple...I should have grabbed a back up...I waited too long...etc."
I've owned 3 comp. finish TGLB's and always end up liquidating them. About a year back I landed my "forever" CF TGLB...it's officially off the market.
So, it's clear to me it still a pretty strong seller's mkt. on TGLB especially CF & ones with fancy handles.
If you're afraid of selling it...you'd better not put it up on the Exchange!
As for TGLB v. SR BR in usage ... never owned a BR so can't help out there.
But I will say that of all my Busse's...the TGLB is NOT my go to blade for slicing OR chopping...way too thick behind the edge in my usage with factory specs.
Having said that, I still LOVE my TGLB and have no doubt it would never let me down if it was my one knife option...but as long as I have my pick of the Bussekin litter, gimme a B8 every time for using. [emoji106]![]()
Lol take what ?I'll take it
Oh boy, I didn't know the Battle Pappy existed... great, now I want one.
Does anybody know how many were made?
