Pappy looked cool, but for me the handles were too small.
I prefer the TGLB for a user.
Que all the Dave Brown = Hell Boy hands quotes![]()
I got pretty big hands too , there not as big as yours or Dave's but the BP handles are really comfortable to me. And it only weighs 21 ounces compared to 15 for the TGLB. And with that you get a blade that's 3 inches longer and isAgreed, while the BP is one of the coolest looking designs out there, that coffin handle absolutely ruined the experience for my XXL paws too. The longer I held it the more it pulled my thumb & index finger knuckles into the guard to the point of being very uncomfortable, so it had to move along. No such problems with TG handle. At the 2010 AG Russell show I was so excited to have a chance at one I did not notice such deficiencies for the short time I held the BP, but figured it out later when mine came in the mail. Now the TTKZ handle on the other hand... AWESOME!!

I'm sold! Man I would love one of these. The Texican Bowie would definitely need to have the coffin handle of the Battle Pappy.

Isn't it pretty comparable with the bwm (with this one being slimmer and a bit longer)? Does someone have some pics to compare the 2? Or has someone handled both? How much does the battle pappy weight? Thx
If it's a financial situation I go with selling the one that's easier to replace. Keep the battle pappy it's far more rare.
I still don’t know why I passed the Battle Pappy up. I still love the look but doubt I’ll ever get my hands on one close to the original price.
