These are the pics that BCCI posted some months back...

I just like to look at them... :D

Maybe Buckcustom or Larry could post some comments... :)

And a couple of interesting quotes from the announcement thread...

BCCI Special Project 110

Buckcustom Post # 1

"I have the prototype of the latest BCCI fundraiser knife...This new fundraiser is a 110 with a drop point satin finished S30V blade with no nail nick. It's a finger grooved version with Sambar Stag handle slabs no handle pins. It'll come with a brown leather sheath and a limited edition box. It will not be serialized."

Larry Oden Post # 17

"By the way, the prototype has an old four dot 110 blade in it. John showed the reverse side of the knife to allow everybody to see how the knife would look sans nail nick since the knife will not have a nail nick."

Larry, I'm curious...Did Buck grind down that "old four dot 110 blade" to a drop-point configuration???

Trax,
Are you getting ready to do what I think you are?

Ya know, Trax, I had put that 110 out of my thoughts...and you go and drag it up AND post the picture. Is it March yet???? Preston

trax - word is that a 110 blade was ground to a drop and put in 112 frames and yethe one in thepict as proto for club was i belive ground down 110 ... makes for a shorter blade then it should be ... is why a 426 was used in shop by LR when he did them. tho he has done it!

:D :D ...LMBO...Yer makin' a lot of people start wonderin' real hard right now Trax...That sure is a nice lookin' knife even for a "proto"...I can just imagine what a 112 drop point set up just the same way would look like sittin' next to it...

Wasn't that part of the Philip Morris commercial? He would shout, "All call for Phillip Marraayyis!"

  ...That's it Mike...Phillip Morris...We all better sit down and relax...At our ages we could over-work something real easily...LOL... :D :p ...

We should get the 112 drop point prototype by mid April. I'll be sure to provide some pics when it arrives.

I like that stag and drop. Only dilema I have now is "pins or no pins" on the stag.
Nice knife!

No pin choice on this one. Maybe you were thinking of ordering a 110FG Sambar Nickel Silver w/BG-42 clip-point from the Custom Shoppe???

...or maybe from an outside source???
