You'd think someone would want my money... :)
If you ever have diffculty knowing where to send it, I can always send you my address. Just make out the check to cash! :D

OK, looking at the photo of the prototype, it does indeed have a 442 blade in it...but the 110 prototype had a drop-point profile resembling the 426 [although 334dave says it was a ground-down clip point] and the final shipping knife had a very different profile...

...Caveat emptor... :(

...It would sure be nice to have someone say that they are using the tooling for the 442 blade profile and are changing the stamp blocks in the tooling to match that of the drop point 110...

Just wanted to know how may of you have already or are planning to order one of these knives? I've sent in my order for two of them :)

the wife and i got bad news in that
she was DX'ed with cancer and may have to have a total removell.
good news is her survival prospect for the long hall is Extremely good as it is a sllloooooow spreding type and it seems to have not got to limph yet.,
so we are praying and hoping..that this turns to a temporary set back...

i am hoping this will continue to be a link to normalcy... if you can call you sharp edge loving folks (like me) can be called normal !:D

Dave,
Sorry to hear about your wife. I just lost a daughter to cervical cancer recently, so I'm glad for you that the prognosis for your wife's recovery is good.

I do not like the sheaths that Buck provides so I've been getting custom sheaths for those that I buy.

...Marv...I did do the scales on that 112 and the blade change out...It's some kind of black wood that one of my sons-in-law had lyin' around. I don't have a clue what it is but it's hard like a rock and harder to work on . It sands and drills like metal almost...The rivets are from Michaels craft stores...LOL...It was super hard finding .064 rivets so I just drilled the holes bigger to accept what they had...Not "per print"...but it worked...LOL...

can i post date a check say for a week? just running a little short right now. i got the 110 and love it. but i sure would like the 112 to go with it

Hay darryl- if you have a way to get wood stablisedAnd you email me your address i will send you some wormy chestnut dateing from pre 1840 enuight to make a set of scales from but it will need to be stablised....

:) ...Hiya Dave...I use the "Food-saver" and Thompson's Wood Preservative method of stabilizing the scales...Don't know if it'll hold up as well as professional stabilizing but I like to try almost anything to save a few pennies...LOL...I'll email you my address. I'd like to try that chestnut out on a 110 I have laying here in small "chunks" ...LOL...

My concern is that the pic in the newsletter looks good. But, IIRC, some were not happy with the stag on the 110 units they actually received.
I don't think a lot of pics of the 110 were posted so, I don't know for sure if it's a minority or the majority.
Just ramblin'....I'm a ramblin' man....ramblin'....ramblin'...ramblin'....
Goose.
