In our September newsletter, the BCCI is offering a 110 with a S30V blade, honey worm grooved bone scales and nickel silver bolsters. A brown leather sheath is included. Cost to members is only $85.00 including shipping. This knife is a beauty and is scary sharp! We try to offer several different knives each year. I would love to hear some ideas for our next fundraiser, which will probably be offered in our March newsletter. I know that March seems like a long time off, but we need the time to not only make a decision, but have the prototype built for pictures and all. So, how about some ideas!

I can supply a picture or scan of this knife if someone can post it.

Scott, you do need to be a member to order this one, but you can renew your membership, no problem! There's an application in the sticky thread. Annual membership is only $20.00. And that brings you 4 info packed newsletters each year, along with a Buck Knives catalog and price sheet, plus access to the club website.

Send it to me, I'l post it. I'd love to join the BCCI, but I don't have a working printer for that app. Maybe someone could mail me one.

Jake,
Your not a member yet? How did we let that happen? Send me an email with your address and I will gladly send you an aplication and one of the last newsletters.
This offer is good for anybody interested by the way.

Heres the pic, I hope I shrank it enough that it works.

My paid membership is in the mail. I'm looking forward to adding that 110 to my growing collection. :D

For the next fundraising knife, might I suggest a 112 with some decent steel (BG-42 or S30V)? I have been waiting for nearly a year for the Custom Shop to deliver as promised!

Thanks, -Alex

Alex,

A 112 with upgraded steel is a good idea. It would be neat to have a 112 to match the 110 that we are doing. Thanks for your input.

John,
When do you think the 110's will be available? As I posted above, I sent in to renew my membership. Thanks
Scott

Scott,

The order form for the S30V 110 will be in the September newsletter. Most members will receive it in the second week of the month. We will be taking orders until November 15. We'll place the order with Buck on the 16th, and then it is in their hands. The move to Idaho might lengthen the wait. I would hope that they will be ready to ship by the first of the year though.

John

Thanks John, I'm glad I sent the membership in now, don't want to miss out on this 110. I have about 30 110's in my collection so far. :D plus numerous other Buck's. I feel they are the best knives on the planet. :)

I Vote for that. I would like to have a matching set.

(I'm also having visions of a 112 w/nickle silver, BG-42 and matching Sambar Stag)

If (when) Buck starts offering the 112 from the Custom Shoppe, it would be interesting to see if it outsells the 110.

I am having a difficult time deciding whether there will be more "collectors" or more "users" who order this 110. For the collectors, it will be a very unusual, 'gotta have' 110. For users, how can you beat the combination of s30v blade steel, a really neat handle inlay and nickel silver frame with the famous 110?!! Some guys will order extra's just to be able to have other favorite inlays done aftermarket.

Perhaps our next project should be the titanium frame, G-10 inlays, s30v steel idea which was floating around. Can you imagine how cool that would look and function?

Larry, the Ti frames a great idea, but G10 has been so overdone on so many knives. Maybe stabilized snakewood and D2?..now that would be one helluva 110!
