I find it interesting that Dave just about had the entire Buck group convinced that they all should either become basic members or upgrade their membership to gold or platinum. (even I was a click away from actually becoming a basic member) All this so we could have a sticky on our forum site for buying, selling or trading buck knives. And, instead of jumping at the chance to increase revenues, or at least give it serious consideration, the moderators here, in all their wisdom, decided to simply blow it off. I will never take seriously, the idea of becoming a member, basic or otherwise. Like I said in an earlier post, there is nothing that is currently being offered that would entice me to part with my $10.

I'll keep paying my dues, it's worth the knowledge gained from BF. I've saved myself at least $40 in headaches and scams. I'd still like the sticky for trading. I don't care for ebay, but it reaches the masses

cougar - it was never a question of being free and i did pony up see the basic under my name?
and as i said the privlages of basic other then cove are a question of worth at the gold level.
i joined not for wanting the sticky but
as i felt bad on not joining after the site went down and servers had to be bought... and i said of it... the bennies are questionable for the 10 dollars
but the buck play ground and my friends are worth more then gold...
if the sticky is that much of a bother then i would say =jest say no and dont do it dont up set the guys over it and dont get there hopes up by saying it is money as money is the easy part even if you are on fixed income...
and speaking of that and noticeing all the combat knifves an miltary appclation and design to "mil spects and mall suport
how come ther is not a discount to miltary and leo >? both acticve and retired ?
many say they suport our miltary so put your money and actions were your big mouith is or shit thje vuck up and that is my opion and i am sticking to it yea miltary mall suporters...
at least put instructinons to find a brand of knife in each forum as a stiky because many jest dont know what went wrong wehrn pages come up blank with no over loaded message.. ...
