I am now watching Man V. Wild; and this is why I watch it. For entertainment value only.

I just had to laugh as he snared a skunk in a spring snare. What to do? You have to eat it. :barf::D

I love it... He is fun to observe...

I guess I'd eat it too so it wouldn't go to waste or if I were truly starving. HA!

It is funnier with a bit of Scotch...

EDIT: OH, MY. Commercial break shows he is attempting to get some honeycomb and then gets stung extremely badly on the face. Ouch.

YES!! Oh my goodness, that looks extremely painful!!:D That poor, poor bastard! Ah well, he is getting well paid and I'd take the stings to the face and skunk scent too!
 
Wonder why the smoke didn't work?? I bet that was the best honey he ever tasted though. He sure swelled up massive. I don't think it was worth the risk, IMO.
 
I dont know if africanized bees are affected by smoke. He bout burned the whole state down with that stunt.....
 
I think if he had gotten bitten by the rattler after the bee sting, he'd been done for. I think I'd have skipped that opportunity for a meal and look to eat something else that would couldn't have injected my body with another toxin.
 
at least he cooked the snake this time, maybe not enough though....

I'm glad someone posted this. I'm impressed with the show tonight. Pure entertainment at its best. I can easily pick out a dozen mistakes but am enjoying it for the action/adventure/mindless fun Discovery has created.

That being said, I would have to say I have never killed a rattler with a stick nor grabbed honey fresh from the hive. The guy has some cajones I don't and I would not mind grabbing a beer with him. I still think the show will get someone killed someday but that is ultimately the responsibility of the person believing everything they see on T.V.

If anyone can get me a pic of his face alll swole up I would love it!! He loke like a cartoon! Ya know, hunting a diamondback with your eyes swole half shut in the blinding sun takes balls. Not brains, BALLS.....

Hey man, I agree. I get a kick out of him, but he's probably seen more environments that I've even read about.
 
I about lost it when he was talkin bout common sense with his face all swole up, after chuggin piss.

Dudes got balls, Id like to hang with him, hes probably a cool guy when it comes down to it. Just alittle misguided.....
 
Baja is beautifull country. I didnt know that a snake will hold liquids like that. Thats pretty cool.

I enjoy Bear. It's kind of like watching scenarios of adult life as I imagined it would be when I was eleven or twelve years old.

Yeah tonights show was nice and funny. That snake thing would actually have been cool if he made the effort to find real water to put in it instead of his pee.
