If those guys can survive with almost nothing, why do we have to have 10 to 30 lbs of survival gear?
Has anybody ever tested themselves and gone out for the weekend with a knife and very little else?

Why does Bear not use a machete in the jungle? Why does jury duty pay more than my real job? Why is the only joy I know a dishwashing liquid? After pondering these life mysteries, I dicided that my new hero is the other Bear. The one with the Italian girlfriend. Got his knife, too.

Bear G is certainly entertaining. I'll continue to watch his show. He does dangerous stuff and explains them as being an example of the kinds of choices one might have as a last resort in a survival situation. I'm not eating worms or drinking urine. Period.

I have a hard time believing that Les does all his own filming because if you watch some of the camera shots, you notice that the camera is folowing Les, and he isnt holding it. somtimes the shot will be of him arriving on a beach in a canoe, i dont get how he does that by himself

I've never seen the camera follow him

I've never seen the camera follow Les apart from the very start before the support crew heads off and leaves him. As for the shots where you see him com towards or away from camera if you watch some of his behind the scenes episodes you'll see that he'll come in, set up the camera, leave then come back again to get the shot. Same as for when he walks away from camera, he then comes back and collects it. People wonder why he sits around so much, well IMO it's because you don't see all this type of thing that he does setting up the shots.

As for Bear I enjoy his show. It's interesting to see what he'll eat next and what other dangerous activity he'll do. This latest episde I can't believe how much he ate LOL. I bet it's not the only time he's been sick either.
