I'm no digital photographer, BUT I think it would be so
cool to have a gallery of the most beat up Busse's...I
really liked that Cliff Stamp bondo job posted months
ago...so fellow Busseholics...anyone have any well worn,
well tested, beat up Busse's to show off...come on collectors
let's see 'em!!!

This is the coolest idea ever kinda makes me want to beat up one of my safe queens just to post some pics.Come on guys lets see who can walk the Busse walk.

In addition, it would also be cool to see pics of Busses chopping, cutting, wedging, hammering, prying, etc.

Is this what you mean?:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D by beaters?

No really Yardboy you inspired me to go & give my NIB Basic 9 a work out so I grabbed a 4X4 of really hard wood & went to wackin'WOW it was really easy to chop almost all the way through twice!!!!!!!

Then I saw a knot in the 4X4 &.................

OH & here is the best part...........still shaving sharp:D :D :D

If you guys keep this up, I'm going to go out and get a digital camera, I mean it!

This had the crinkle coat on it a few months ago. I've been beating it intensly lately and getting a bit carried away now and then.

The chip in the micarta slab is from the back of my axe. I was using it to split logs. It was getting too dark and I missed the steel.

This knife holds up unbelievably, driving it into a log by slamming it in the pommel with the back of an axe, cutting through the bushes in front of my house and accidentally cutting through a bunch of welded wire fence, and tending some large fires out back. These things would most certainly destroy most other knives!!

R. Markus, I like what you did with the slabs:cool:
My SH also has the same "dremel quilted Micarta" LOL!!!:D:D:D

Well after seeing David's pics I went out back and found a old piece of landscape timber "good ole wet pine that's been laying around for 6 months or so" Well the pic below shows what took about 5 minutes of hacking and Yes she is still shaving sharp:D

Woah!
Did anyone else notice the larger finger sized choil David's 9 has?

I did a double take and had to run over to the pic archive for a little research! I haven't seen many like that one. Does anyone know when these started (or stopped) getting the larger choil?

David, I hope that isn't skin mixed in with the hair!;)

R. Markus, Hope you didn't ruin your axe!;)

hey Kydex King Mr. Brown, you gave me a great idea
with that t-shirt shot...infi cups for professional
atheletes (sp)...ahh never mind:barf:

C'mon guy's, where are they?

R.Markus, what did you use to remove the coating? Looks kinda cool that way

No digital camera, and no current photos, but believe me, they're beat on pretty damn good.

I think a group of "family portraits" are overdue with a couple of new toys...

gosh, it looks like only two guys actually use their
knives for something...I'm gonna start selling safes
for a living:p

I guess only Rayden,Don L.,Cliff Stamp,R.Marcus & I are the walk walkers in this gang come on Yardboy wack some weeds or yard related stuff with one of yours & I will take the pics :D .Bravado go beat the heck out of that Mr. Mojo so I won't have to trade you out of it :D
