Beating on a Game Warden

Too cool, this is going to be a great thread. I need some ferric chloride, that logo came out nice,,,,:thumbup:

well now.. that one way to ruin a perfectly good acid etch.

Love that shot of the INFI cut!:thumbup:

Mower engine block

A cast aluminum intake manifold on an abandoned car?

Whoops! That one broke the tip off! Once it is buried deep into anything, any strike that isn't perfectly center is going to break pretty much anything. Not a big deal, I'll grind it back pointy, and the fun will continue!

What looks like edge damage is just some black stuff from somewhere, the edge is fine still. It will still scrape my fingernail fairly easily, and roughly slice cardboard.

normally cement nails was HTed about HRC40-45 , much harder than mild steel , do you wanna try ? i think cement nails will ruin the edge of your cool AD.

I don't have any cement nails around, so I thought I'd take pics of redoing the nail cutting that I did that I mentioned in the first post.

But where's the fun in that? :D

Brought out the 4lb hammer for this one. This spike is .388 thick.

Victory!!!

Still roughly slices through cardboard

Just the tiniest bit, not even 1/4 the way up the bevel. I could get it sharp in a minute or two with a butcher steel and ceramic stick.

Awsome man!!! If your really feeling risky......try battoning through that steel plate you punctured in your pics. Would love to see how that edge holds up

I went blade deep, after that it was tough to hold the handle hard enough to not just pivot the blade in the steel.

no need for destructing to destruct, enough :D

really cool way that shows the strength & toughness of this litte thing , thanks.

LOL!! Tyrade83 you knocked it out the ball park with your KDSH thread and now this...the Game Warden is one tough little big blade

People always ask why I spend money on Busse knives. It's not that I plan to cut stuff like this, but it can.

Busses aren't cheap but by how it looks so far it's cheaper than my angle grinder and having to replace the discs all the time.

I know that! A box of 25 Walter 6" zip cut disks cost around $180 plus tax here. Doesn't take long to add up to a Game Warden, or even a Mistress!

I don't know where to get any of that around here, but I'll look into it. If anyone wants to send me a chunk, PM me. I'll gladly beat the Warden through it.
