Beautiful D'Holder Bowie

Even though I understand D'Holder has stopped taking orders, very nice examples can be had if you are quick to the draw! There's nice ones available on some dealer sites now.

Here's a D'Holder Bowie Fighter Custom made to an order in 1976.

It's massive! 13 1/2" 0verall, 3/8" ATS-34 stock, 2" wide. Brass Guard and compound contoured Brass Cap. File worked. Sharpened top clip.
It feels awesome in hand.

Sorry for the duplicate post - this was meant to go in the Spear point Bowie post. Me Bad !!!!

"D" and I I are old Friends. Love the Man, Love the work! Please notice all the Lines on a D'Alton. Every thing is crisp in the grinds! All the way to the tip. Not a muted or nubbed off line anywhere on the blades. I see so many Blades that look great until they get to the tip, where they get suddenly thicker in the edge and the point is nubbed or rounded off. Way to do it right "D"!!!! Love Your Work.

And thanks "D" for what you and a few others did for me all those years ago at the last Dallas Guild show. You, G. Herron, J. Lile, C. Gault , B Warenski.. It will never be forgotten! Mike and Manuela Lovett
