Unfortunately the stump got thrown away. Just a small tree this year. Little 5 footer. But forgot a saw so batoned it with my bk11 edc.
 
Ps.... That's when my 5 and 4 were new. They are well loved now. Well the 5 my girl stole for her kitchen but the 4 is still mine. Lol
 
It would indeed. And or a light back pack knife , Edc blade, light military knife EVERYTHING KNIFE!!!! C'mon Ethan it's Xmas. Throw us a present!!!!
 
Would that hole in choil have to be changed do to the Busse talon hole ordeal? I know they have talked about other blades that have it. Idk..... Seems little crazy but what do I know???
 
Some time ago, I pleaded for a longer handeled 11 - knowing it would be my grail knife... And now I see a proto of exactly the knife I want... How Come it did not go into production ? It would sell like warm buns:)

Simple cord wrapped handle, buffered with some sport tape. He gets the heck used outta him! Oh yeah, reprofiled into a clip point too.

Yeah. I love that proto as well. It's awesome. Yes, I would drop some cash for it too. I asked why, I think, in some obscure thread. I think the consensus was that KA-BAR didn't like it very much. I think they thought it wouldn't sell like warm buns because it's handle and blade design was too simple/ basic.

Don't quote me on that though. [emoji6]

Also, if it were put into production it wouldn't have that "a-hole." Sorry, I mean "talon hole" because you know who would sic lawyers all over KA-BAR.

Pretty great mail call today.



It's a little rough and the backside of the sheath looks like someone used a little too much heat gun trying for a bit more retention, but I'm thrilled anyway.

I think so. I got it off the bay, and I've never seen another in person, so I'm not 100% sure. Any distinguishing marks to look for on an original?
