I was hoping you knew. :D It looks like the ones Ive always seen with the Cam 11's but I have never seen one in person. I didn't know they were real kydex back then but sure looks like it is.

Yeah, it looks like all the other pics of them that I've seen as well, but no name, maker's mark or anything other than shape and grommet pattern.

I don't know enough about real kydex to say from holding it in my hand, but it feels about like the one other kydex sheath I have. And I think I read somewhere that is what they were - but who knows if the person typing actually knew what they were talking about.
 
Yeah I just looked through this thread and saw some just like yours. I guess I should have done that sooner. :thumbup:

I love the BK-11. Love the drop point. Love the size, the flat grind. Even love the stock glass filled nylon sheath (until it wears out in 5 to 6 years). I don't get the bottle opener though. I can open a bottle with pretty much anything. Other than that, love it!

AFAIK that is the original Camillus sheath. They used Kydex (or similar) for a lot of sheaths. Both my Brute & BK2 (from Camillus) have Kydex sheaths as well.

And congratulations on your new acquisition. Mine's on my belt right now.

Mine came with the same kind of sheath, no markings at all on it.
