I got bored this weekend, so I figured I'd clean up my BKT Campanion. This is what happened.

That looks awesome! I love my Becker. I can't wait until they are back
in production.

Cool. I did the same to my BK7. I ended up polishing the blade almost to a mirror finish. The handles were the desert camo version but they were worn as well. I refinished them in a dark gray textured finish for some added grip. Heres a crapy pic...

Looks good. Not to hijack the thread, but how do you like your becker?

I've been looking at them for a while now but can't seem to find out a whole lot about them oher than that they are discontinued.

The only problem with the Beckers is the handle size. It's perfect for me and a lot of other people agree. But they are large. They are also easily replaced with flatter slabs. And they are so big ... (how big are they? :) ) ... you can use them for storage!

Great knives. They define heavy duty, without the excess weight. And they still slice.

I have one and can't find it. Got the sheath. Do you think the knife found out I was seeing other knives and left?

I love my Campanion. It's damn near indestructible. I have fairly large hands so the handle's not a problem for me. Just wish I could find some green micarta slabs for mine.

I think I can get some pics in the woods behind work tomorrow. We just got a fresh 5" of snow and its still comming down so it'll be interesting.
That BK7 was actually a BK71 in desert camo withthe beige coating. After use the beige looked pretty rough. Its gone through two stages. It had a "satin" finish for a while with the factory coated slabs as seen here:

I'll get some pics ASAP. Thanks.

I hates a PAINTED blade! LOOKS GREAT

All these Beckers look fantastic. Anyone know when the new ones are likely to hit the shelves?

The info i received from Ka-Bar stated that it would be well into 2008 before the first ones would be available for sale and they could not give me any info on what models would be offered as that hadn't been worked out yet. I only bought five cam Beckers and am hoping for the models that didn't interest me at the time i purchased mine to be offered by ka-bar. IE... patrol machete and brute
