Becker edges (and how you care for them)

All my users get reprofiled with the Ken Onion Work Sharp (here is my review: http://www.thetruthaboutknives.com/2015/10/review-work-sharp-knife-tool-sharpener-ken-onion-edition/)

This makes for easy maintenance for me with a strop. Occasionally on real heavy users I might need to take it back to the Work Sharp to clean things up, but not often.

I'm lazy and generally disinterested in sharpening a boat load of knives. So I tend to touch up after use. This way I normally don't have to break out the Lansky kit to repair or re profile. Normally my Sharp maker gets the edge to smooth paper slicing which is all I want.

That's as sharp as I need too and good enough for me as well

Thank you sir! That one is MTM's knife. Uneven edges bother me, so if it's uneven, I'll bust out the sharpening stuff!

That blade looks very mucht loved with the natural fading of the coating, awesome.
