Becker Fall Gathering 2013 - Roll Call Thread !!!

Just got off the phone with the man himself. Ethan confirmed that the dates for the fall gathering are the last weekend in September. That's the 27th, 28th, and 29th.
So post up whether you're coming and if so, how you're sleeping. As usual, big groups work better with big tents, but solo hangers (hammocks) are just as welcome, space permitting.

To start it off, I'll be there Friday through Sunday. So will my neighbor. I plan to hang a hammock. He will either do a solo tent like last time or hang his Hennessy.

The Murph, plus Lady Murph. We'll be tenting it until she leaves then I'm free to swing.
 
If Derek brings the martini fixin's, I'm swinging with Moose. And I'll have a hammock too.
 
I'll be there in my usually solo tent. definitely be there Friday on, unless theres work that needs to be done early, Id be willing to help.
 
I'm planning on being there. may bring a friend. Planning on getting a tent.
If bringing a friend is an issue let me know. he a hunter type that really isnt into knives, but thinks he should be, just doesnt know where to start. I figured what better way to introduce him to knives than bring him to "The Source".

likely also bring a cot in case of monsoon, so I can just surf to the bottom of the hill and sleep on the mower.

Sorry man, the mower has already been claimed.
Ethan and I talked about contingency planning in case of monsoon. I'm going to tuck a one-man, freestanding tent into the car.
If the floods come, I will be pitching next to the mower, storing my stuff in the tent, and sleeping on the mower.

Hell, I may just sleep on the mower anyway.
 
I'll be there Thursday-ish. Will bring a pup-tent. And knives to abuse. And homegrown/homemade chili-pepper relish. And probably other snacks to share, as long as I don't irritate Miss Angie too much.
 
the knife breaking crew aka, everyone who rode in gustys jeep, should all be there in our big tent. So any knives you want destroyed let us know. should be only 3 maybe 4 of us we can come Thursday if need be. I keep trying to save money up to buy one of todds knives but I just spend all the extra on beer,bacon,and good cigars.
 
Due to working out west and introduction of third grandbaby, I am going to be able to definitely make either this or the Beckerwest gathering, just not sure which. There is a very slim chance that I can make both... That would be too good for it to actually work out so I am not holding my breath.

If possible, please put me as a definite maybe please. I would be swinging along with the others....
 
Just got word the yearly camping trip with my son and one of his Army buddies will be that weekend. His buddy is coming from Hawaii for it so looks like we're out.

Maybe you could bring them? Just a thought, it would be a shame to lose you guys, and it is almost guaranteed that they would have a good time. Even with the reduced chances of man love from Psyop.

I want to be there sooo badly, but I cannot get the time. Surgery this Monday and losing at least a weeks work unpaid, maybe two. Work is being as cool as can be expected about it too...lol So there is no way I can get time off again for the gather.
Take great pics and hoist a beer to my memory ... :D
