How much time off will you have?
I'm planning on leaving Wednesday morning and being back Sunday evening -- could carpool.
 
Is there a plan yet as to any activities or discussions? Anything special I should bring?

I don't know how many people would be interested, but I could and discuss bring a few of my own examples of how NOT to make a good knife and sheath... y'know, things to avoid and watch out for, both as a maker and a purchaser/user. Thoughts?
 
It was my understanding that this was more of a last hurrah type of shindig, i.e. get drunk and eat stupid good, but I'm sure anything you would like to discuss and provide examples of would be cool. It's not like any of us ever said no to anything before. Why would we start now?

works for me -- I'll be bringing the portable fire pit, hammers, & anvil if people want to bash on hot steel.
Derek - remind Pointy if he doesn't show up he needs to send my air pump with you.

not sure yet, I'll have to give it a week as it gets closer to check and see... I'd love to carpool if possible would save us some gas/money for sure...

I have 3/8" steel target set up that I believe is rated up to .44mag... is that something you guys would find useful :) I plan on bringing a few fire arms, nothing to exotic but fun to shoot... can or have you guys done skeet shooting there?? that would be sweet

EDIT: my reply about meeting 'half you guys', I didn't intend for that to sound like it was intended for those that couldn't come but rather it would be nice to meet 'half' the crowd coming :D the other half, well.. probably feels the same way :D j/k

After removal, the duct tape cuts down on the amount of shaving required, too. If you're into that sort of thing.

imobilizing them is fairly easy. it's the zerberts that are hit or miss.
 
I'll be there.

Probably get in Thursday sometime. I'll be in a hammock.

I will be sure to bring a rope for the roping seminar. In fact, I could spare a few barn cats if we need more live subjects for roping.
 
The Major should be attending this time as well. I believe he will be there Friday, and either a 1 or 2 man tent. If there isn't space though he will sleep pretty much anywhere.
 
I am going to try very hard to be there, but now that it will be a ten hour drive instead of a two hour drive, it will be more of a challenge.

Where are you driving from that it is a 10 hour drive?

didn't realize you had made the move to Fla.
what do you think of the woods down there compared to your old stomping grounds?
 
Miss Angie wants to know, how many Beckerheads like pickled eggs. If that's a minority, I will bring something else to share, instead ;)

There WILL be fresh homemade green chile relish there, regardless.
 
I like pickled eggs, homemade relish, bacon wrapped tasty bites.......
