Becker fall gathering in Tn dates?

i am getting all excited now. this is gonna be FUN! except maybe the driving :D
 
I drove through Vonore a couple of times in the last two weeks. Been tempted to stop in and check out the hams.

Is this open only for "beckerheads" or is anyone invited? What goes on at these? Camping? Shooting? Woods craft? Knife buying and selling? Telling war stories? What has been the typical number of attendees at past gatherings? Trying to get a feel for things.
 
generally there are between 7 and 23 attendees.
you nailed most of the activities, but forgot to add fire, eating too much, and the occasional consumption of grain soda/barley pop (depending on where you're from)

General debauchery, getting your doctorate in b.s., etc... There's a thread somewhere around here on what to expect.
 
It's looking like I can be there Thursday to help get things rolling. I'm not very smart, but I can lift heavy objects :D
 
For those flying in we can come get you, it really isn't that far away from the boss's house. I should be there on Wednesday, early afternoon or so depending on how early I wake up. AIG if you want me to come pick you up just holler, save you having to rent a car. Terrio same goes for you, if it would be easier for one of us to come get you we can do that then run you back home whenever.

I think averageiowaguy and I have it worked out... then again if someone has time to come pick us up from Knoxville, we could split up the gas money. (yes, I am a cheap SOB :D)

I promise not to fart in the car... or at least warn fellow travelers to roll down the windows first.
 
Well you guys let me know what you want to do and we'll get it sorted. We should have a few options on Wednesday for people to go get you guys if needed. Anyone else feels like flying in, let us know, we regularly make trips into town, and the airport is only like 45 minutes from the hacienda or so.

i hope to be able to bring some more towels and bandage stuff from work for everyone. maybe some iv kits with fluid possibly but i don't know if i can or not. as for food im willing to take a part in cooking breakfast for people, just remember to bring your on food .
