Becker Field Bag Picture Thread

ron, we can remedy that. I've got some BK-14 "seconds" that Ka-Bar gave me to dole out, and one of them is yours if you want it. All you need to do is send me an address and agree that you'll use it.

Just click my username in red and send me
Do factory 2nds come with a sheath?

Folks at this stage all I can say is that Karen is peddling as fast as she possibly can...... We tried to devise a system that was fair and gave my best customers (many of whom are friends) the first shot...... Trying to do the right thing here and as all my friends know perfection is not my strong suit......... I do try..... If I could run a sewing machine I would chip in but, you really would not like the result...... The job Karen is doing is impeccable and therefore somewhat slow...... Really good stuff is not always instant....... Karen is, in many ways the sewing equivalent of some of our better custom knifemakers......I am extremely happy that Karen is the one doing the bags as she took a pretty good idea of mine and refined it into a wonderful product....... Patience was picked by the Great Kahn (a very impatient guy) as the first virtue...... I too, am a very impatient guy and I had to wait eighteen months to get where we are........ So, patience please, we are trying hard....

I have absolutely no doubt that the bags are indeed worthy every penny they cost. It's just that I'm not able to afford something of such quality.

To be completely honest I don't know what I would do with the bag. I don't have a BOB in my truck. Perhaps this would be a good bag to build one in?

It'd be a great possibles bag. Ethan carried his everywhere before and during the gathering. He was pretty religious about it going everywhere he went, that and the Rossi .22 that was always with the bag.

My woman carried hers for the first time this weekend. She loves it!

I would love to have one when I can afford to get one. I just have too much on my plate at the moment but it's nice to see the pride you guys put in the bags and the joy they give you.

I really like that bag, but can't plan to hang that much weight off of one shoulder for long periods of time anymore.

For GOD's sake man.......WHY do you need to remind us older folk of our pitfalls ? WHY I SAY ? LOL :D It seems everywhere i turn lately, I am reminded that i am OLD !!! LOL :D

Carrying a little too much weight on one shoulder can damage your shoulder, but worse, it can wreck your back.

So sling it across from the opposite shoulder, and push it around to the small of your back. MUCH easier.

google "eagle courier bag le" and compare features and cost.

you get what you pay for indeed.

they are VERY nice bags. i'm playing with one now.

Lucky boy. I wanted to buy one from Ethan at the Gathering but came home empty-handed.

yeah, but you got to goto the gathering...

i had double work projects in the way, $500-600 in airfare, and income to forfeit, so, not so much :P

otherwise, i'd have been there, and get the tshirt :D
