Becker Field Bag

I didn't see either but with the way Ethan is describing it as low profile/non tactical. I bet there wont' be a velcro patch panel. Maybe they can offer one with and one without.

Hey Guys......

Really not sure about prices yet but do not expect cheap...... These are amost custom made in Knoxville with almost 100% U.S. made ingredients......Worth every penny in terms of utility and quality......

i have been loving using the protos....... It carries enough but, not too much......it really is fine in a briar patch because it can ride right behind you......The Civil War haversack reborn with refinements........

Any color you want as long as it is tan........I have purchased my last black bag......It always amazes me how fast and how thoroughly lost stuff can get inside a black hole........OD, my favorite color, is too tactical in flavor.......The primary reds and blues etc. do not allow you to "blend"...........when I am out in public I want to part of the background........

I know some companies do the hi-vis type lining. Spec-ops has bright yellow inside for finding gear. I agree on black, not a color choice for my gear. OD and coyote are my staples.

There it is, the super secret Becker bag revealed.

Great design, Ethan.

Would it be possible to get some approximate dimensions of the main compartment?

That's a smart looking bag indeed.

The snaps for the bottle holder typify the well thinking and knowledgeable designer behind it.

Your comments on the effect cold weather has on the 'rustly' nature of some manufacturers products has only really come to light with me over the recent cold spell here in Blighty. It's a very well observed downside and I'm glad to see it is being addressed.

I'll be interested to get my hands on one.

Great work Mr B.

Thank you

Ethan,

Great job on the bag. I'm always looking for new ways to carry all my crap, and I must say, this bag is extremely close to what I look for. To give you an idea; in the last 14 years or so, I have migrated through: school style back packs, to briefcases, to police gear bags, back to nondescript school style back packs, on to tactard backpacks/mini ruck, over to EDC "man purses" and now I'm into a nondescript everyday looking messenger bag.

I really like the options on my current messenger bag. Its got places for common everyman items all the way to the pistol and magazines. And like your bag, it is NOT tacted out with a "look at how cool and dangerous I am" appearance, like you mentioned. Your bag, is right up there with how I want to carry my every day shh-tuff.

Like it a lot, from what was shown. The snap end pocket is a stupendously great feature!! :D

Color idea: What ever happened to grays, dark browns or dark reds as colors? Seems like (as was mentioned) everything is either black, OD, multicam, acu/sage or TAN? If you want to truly move into common and blendy then make some in navy blue. PooF.......disappear in the crowd :)

Again though. Awesome job!!!

Can't wait for this one to come out. I find that the normal laptop-sized messenger bags are too large for what I usually need. The typical sling-packs that are the right size are too tactical looking for work and running around town. Please keep us updated as to where we will be able to purchase these!

I was just looking at the bag again, and I think a sheathed 7 or 9 would fit on the underside of the vertical "molle" Ethan said was for "wearing on the belt." I don't have either the 7 or the 9, but those straps look like a nice "outside the bag" ride platform for the larger BKs. Just a thought.
