Becker Field Bag

earthtones are good

brown, tan, mossy green, even burnt oranges

but i suspect we'll see one color for a very long time... easier that way

I was just looking at the bag again, and I think a sheathed 7 or 9 would fit on the underside of the vertical "molle" Ethan said was for "wearing on the belt." I don't have either the 7 or the 9, but those straps look like a nice "outside the bag" ride platform for the larger BKs. Just a thought.

When I first saw that I thought the tweener would go there.

Great work on this Ethan!

Christine and I are both excited about getting a bag when they become available. And good for you for making it in the US with almost 100 percent US sourced materials. We really respect that.

Nice bag! I really like the idea of a slightly darker brown, rather than tan. But functionally, it meets a lot of the daily, around-town needs.

That's a nice looking bag. Unfortunately I'm a backpack guy. I've tried shoulder bags but I've always gone back to backpacks.

I really like a shoulder bag to go along with a back pack.
Back pack for load bearing and stuff you dont need to grab that often.
Messenger bag for things you want to reach for more regularly. Ease of access ftw.
Also you can wear a messenger style bag and a back pack at the same time without them interfering with each other.
Gives you the option to drop your camp pack at camp, and still be carrying your essentials with you at all times.

Hey Mr. B, after I buy one of these, get the same folks making these to bring back the Becker Patrol Pack !

A great bag! Been looking for something to replace my Maxped Manta/ Blackhawk butt pack combo for a while now, and this looks like the ticket.

This looks awesome. I too respect Mr Becker for trying to keep is made in the USA. can't wait for them to come out!

Eagle Industries stopped making the BPP?

Not exactly, but now it's just a tube covered in PALS webbing. The function of the original pack is lost among all those bar tacks, I guess. I also prefer the original, and would love to find one in woodland camo, but they demand a premium on the collector market for some reason.
