In other news, spent Friday and Saturday in San Antonio at the Texas Beekeepers Association Annual Convention. Sadly, did not see zz there...
Did come home with a 3rd place ribbon for dark amber honey (pretty good for a state-wide honey show). Also entered 2 meads for the first time and both got first in class. One was a melomel (fruit mead), technically a cyser, made with apple cider and honey. The other a metheglin/melomel (spiced and fruit) with rosemary ginger and lime. I also was a mead judge and was recused from scoring in the two categories that I entered.

Great Job Congrats :thumbsup::thumbsup:

my orange tractor company sells the correct orange spray paint for touch ups :D
I was thinking about getting a tractor this last summer but decided to get a 30'X50' steel building to park one in first...along with driveway work. When that's paid off, it's back to the Kubota dealer, which is conveniently about 2 miles from my house.
I've been looking hard at the M6060 since I'm inclined to get a cab rather than ROPS since I value my comfort. But maybe that's excessive and I should just suck it up... I want to be able to move round bales (1,200 pound or so) along with move and spread goat manure over 40 acres of native grass. Once I looked at the cost of haying equipment, I decided I didn't need a tractor big enough to run a round baler and will continue to hire a custom baler for that.

used hay equipment isn't that pricey, and 60 HP is plenty to run a round baler.

Got that bone yanked out of my head. They had a hell of a time getting it out. Kept breaking off, then they would drill on it, pull, drill, pull, etc. Finally, my dentist had another dentist come in, and he finally got the last part out. I thought they were gunna break my neck getting the damn thing out, haha.

Ouch! Self-medicating is probably in order.

That sucks. Sorry!

sounds like having my wisdom teeth taken out ... the doc had to set a chisel and ask his aide to "tap tap tap" ... then reposition and repeat ... then he may have swore under his breath a time or two ...

but I could tell he was more stressed about it then I was because he kept asking if I would close my eyes ... two plus hours later ... tada ...
