So sorry man, prayers headed your way.Burying my Dad in the morning. It's a mixed bag. I hate that he's gone but dementia is a terrible thing and he wouldn't have wanted to live any longer with it than he did.
Smoke and prayers appreciated.
Hug your people, people.

The wife asked me today if I wanted to watch that. She explained to me what it was about a bit, and the cast. I had never heard of it before.Anybody watch the Irishman on Netflix yet?
Wanna watch it, but it’s like 3 1/2 hours long. Not sure if I can stay awake that long lol.Anybody watch the Irishman on Netflix yet?
Sorry to hear that man.DunkEm -- sincere condolences, as I'm at the beginning of the journey you just finished.
My dad was diagnosed with "moderate vascular dementia" a few months back -- which means he's had it for several years and has hit a turning point.
at this point, he can tell he's losing it but refuses to accept help or admit he's depressed.
Unfortunately, I’m in the same boat. My father was diagnosed with dementia and early onset Alzheimer’s about a month and a half ago. It hasn’t been easy.DunkEm -- sincere condolences, as I'm at the beginning of the journey you just finished.

Dang man, so sorry dude. Seems to be rampant. My wife's mother had Alzheimers for 16 years before she passed a few years ago. I never did know her without it.Unfortunately, I’m in the same boat. Watched it last night. It was good, not great. The Book was awesome, the movie wasn’t. Not in league with Goodfellas, Casino, or even Heat. The de-aging technology is impressive but kinda funny. Sometimes it seemed to blink on and off around their eyes. Also, even though they looked younger they still had the movement, posture, and gait of old men. This was very apparent in a De Niro scene where he walks over rocks to ditch a gun in water. Though younger looking, he was moving like a feeble old man.Wanna watch it, but it’s like 3 1/2 hours long. Not sure if I can stay awake that long lol.
