Being a Florida native i was raised to hoard before the storm. All is well at the Tankers homestead. On a side note if anybody would like to go hiking this Sunday I'll be at the Panther Mountain /Giant Ledge trailhead at 6am. 15 mile out and back. 3900 feet above all this craziness
Good for you tankman. Love to go hiking with ya, but the commutes gonna be a killer.
Still need for the ice to go away ‘round here before I get any serious dirt time.

Tonight as I was walking my dog thru the woods by my house something happened (I'm fumbling for the right words to express how it made me feel) Proud and Strong is all I can think of. Anyway... I heard a large mortar round leave it's tube i turned and watched the flames coming off of the round as it streaked skyword. Bamm goes this Huge Beautiful Red White and Blue star cluster. It echoed thru the woods and across the small airstrip i live by. In that instant my very first thought was Damn I Love this Country. Nothing is gonna keep us down.

Yea, "Take two aspirin and call me if it gets worse.", was what the answer amounted to. Some topical ointment and pain pills is what I got, she says to try icing it down. This will take some time.

But this Harpoon is a cool knife, I showed it around the net, people like it. :)

Our work as pretty much been the same. Exceptions being they installed santizers all over the place, as well as taking tables out of the cafeteria and spreading the ones left further apart, then not allowing as many people in at the same time. I take my lunch, so not an issue for me.

Being 95% retired, no going anywhere should be relatively easy, EXCEPT that almost everything I do is "go somewhere to do it" - Bell County Master Gardener training and related events (plant sales), Knife & Tomahawk Throws, Texas Navy meetings and events, Beekeepers meetings, etc, and then there are the Central Texas Knife Collectors meetings, estate sales, garage sales, pawn shops, antique stores and other locations perusing the goods (knives, axes, bayonets, swords) available for transfer to my possession.

I guess that means the only way to add to my collection of sharp/pointy objects is gonna be via fleabay. Only time will tell if that saves or costs me money.

It also means that I will be working a whole lot in the garden and arounf the yard and farm doing repairs and clean up that needs doing.

Just an FYI, Zoom.com has a good conference/video call free option as long as you can keep your conference call to under 40 minutes and need less than 100 people to attend.

apparently FB changed something in the background so I can no longer hotlink to my stored pictures.
grrr...
