Becker Knife Ideas

no opinions/ideas on the Becker checker

I like it, It's like a shortened BK3.

I really like the Magnum necker w/ the eskabar handle. Without the choil it will be much smaller than the tweener that is coming out soon....I need one!

glad to hear it!

now if you want you can pitch a knife idea and I will try and render it in adobe for you

OK,
Since I am only an aspiring Beckerhead, this one is for the boys...I whipped this one up today.
Ethan, Kabar, if you guys want the rest of the knives floating around in my head...I could use a job...or at least a commission.
And, some proto's for my collection.

so here you go. Chopper lovers delight....the "jungle King" or "BKJK"
Ethan, feel free to throw out a BK # for this one..

I was thinking of going back...S30V with micarta grips..say $379 MSRP..street price of around $250. I would buy the hell outta one!

Im still liking this idea I think.

Have we mocked up a Becker folder on here yet? I can't remember! LOL. That would be the next progression if you ask me.

DB mocked up the epitome of what a Becker folder would look like loooong before this thread was even a gleam in someones eye. Honestly, he captured it so well, there hasn't been any point for anyone else to even try.

Yeah that one pretty much sums it up. Not really any room for improvement at all. Ok, maybe we need other types of Becker outdoor tools? I know there's a hatchet floating around on this thread right? So how about a tomahawk? Or a Becker camp spade? :D With all of the knife designs, I'm not sure where else we can go with it? LOL.

Thanks! I would sure like to see it made!
I have been thinking...what if they made a BK99 basically a BK9 in S30V at 1/4 inch. Would that be cool or what?!

I came up with a tomahawk idea but I'm not sure it's ready for the BKI thread

I will do a camp spade but I need a jumping off point

The thread is always ready!! For the spade, maybe something that has the BK3 grind for the edges? A spade that you can sharpen well and use to chop or split with, but the edge angle would be tough enough for digging duty? I'd say all straight edges and angles, not many curves to make sharpening easy.

A BK2 version of the Marble's FireFighter's Survival Devils Tail Shovel---Item # MA5015 at SMKW.
