Becker Knife Ideas

Yes, like that, 1/4" thick & maybe a higher grind, only with a bigger choil that you could REALLY use. People like BushOgre have sausage fingers you know !!! LOL :D

Its true. We need a good bit of real estate to choke up on a knife.

Silent john, I would like to see what a choil-less magnum camp necker would look like if you get some extra time.

LOVE the name ! Call me crazy, but i am also a big fan of the extended tang/pommel. It's just one of those things that i may never use, but i am happy that it is there.

Like my life philosophy "Better to have it & not need it, than to, need it & not have it." Depending on finances of course.

with the pommel

thanks I'm quite proud of some of the designs to come out of this thread and that Machachet will be a winner

and I think the magnum necker slap had me mock up has real potential

you like the sheath i renamed the knife to something more awesome

I just want a shorted handle on the 2. But a long staff with dual machaxs would be welcome as well

What if a squared-off tip was combined with a BK2?

Similar to this tip (Daniel Fairly posted it, hope he doesn't mind, I'll remove if necessary):

It would shorten the knife significantly. It wouldn't be a chisel grind though, which may defeat the purpose, but I figure it would be an awesome utility blade and have a better shape for scraping and prying.

I think it could work well if the length was kept the same. If you flatten it back where the tip starts, then I think you lose alot of what its good for as far as multi uses, but at the same length is still can do what it can now (besides poking)
