no it won't. I have a 275 which I imagine this knife being very similar to and I payed $125 for the benchmade

most I see this going for is $150 - $200

now gentelmen , what steel should the blade be. I vote 1/8 inch thick D2 or beckers 1095 cro/van steel but I believe that may drive the price up

Finally done!!! TDY and busy (normal) work schedule finally allowed me to finally finish this project. SilentJohn, thank you for your help and idea. I also did the tanto version but it warped during HT. Tried to straighten but got frustrated and focused on the ones that actually worked well. All comments appreciated and welcome. Thanks again fellas!!

Been a while I know...but it's time for more knife makin'. Any magnum necker ideas are welcome. I'm ordering my steel in the next couple days or so. Can't decide between 5160 and 1095 again. Thoughts?

I had actually thought about using GunKote. Seems fairly easy to do with my current geographic limitations.
