Becker Kukri

The reg webpage takes to long to navigate on the go. I got rid of the pesky ad sig too. Problem is the app auto updates and everytime it puts that stupid thing back on. Ill start mailing my posts in if it gets me a machax :D

i should search for that phrase, and edit them all out myself ;) maybe Spark can turn it off. i dunno, maybe it's a desirable feature ;) i think it's spam on the part of the app developer.

speaking of searching, do that for machax. read, learn, drool. the protos are really nice, and well, yar, it's going to be a fantastic reintroduction. i wish they'd be convexed, but they'll be super slicers and choppers.

oh, dangle? what dangling. the machax is a sure thing. i'm not sure when, exactly, never know with those wiley guys at KaBar. could be a month. could be Xmas, or ShotShow, or Blade show... they're working on it. i've fondled the prototypes many times. good stuff. iirc, it's been shown in pictures at the Gathering, and Ethan has spoken in it some in various venues, and video too.

oh, see if you can't edit out that tapatalk advert ;) stupid software keeps advertising itself when i hit the forums on a smart device. at least it stopped after a few go rounds, probably a cookie, it'll be back ;P i've been told as well, the tapatalk doesn't show signatures, and sort of glosses over various forums features, making your life harder in some ways (but simpler because you don't know you're missing out). compare to the web version sometime, and let me know how that works out.

I'm pretty sure this has been done and overdone but at least for those who haven't salivated over new stuff yet.
I believe at least one of these he says the Machax is setting up to go.

yeah, yeah, old, but with respect. like old yeller :) you're probably one of the first people i know of that comes to mind when i think "long time machax wielder", other than say, Ethan, and Guyon. yah, we gots some others too, but it just doesn't seem like that many people have pre-Camillus models. at all. drat.

well, i hope in the goodness of time, or 6 months or so, a LOT of people suddenly get to enjoy the Machax at least as half as much as i have, and keep most of their fingers too :)

Hey Guyon, now he compares me to a dog!!! Where are the mods???? jk :D

This is about the oldest "long time machax wielder" picture that I could find. It was taken at a primitive skills workshop Thought it might be interesting.

bladite - quick question - where is the new Machax being made?

I cleared some more stuff out back today.
The Reinhardt is a vegetation death mo-sheen.
Not any action pics, but there's still more cutting to do.
I did get this shot, which I call, "Kickass 1 and Kickass 2."

I have a Reinhardt Kukri. It has been out of service for many years, but long ago my mother had the idea of planting some bamboo in her back yard.

The Bamboo thrived; it grew and proliferated like something out of a science fiction movie. Every visit she implored me to get rid of it. I tried several implements without making much headway. Then I used the Reinhardt Kukri and the the bamboo was history.

That would be a kick ass BeckerHead forum knife next go around. A BK4 special edition. Maybe pimped out moose style with rhinestones and whatnot, you know gold inlays and such.

That was where the RBK was made. I don't think there are any left in the warehouse, these are over 20yrs old. :DMoose

there's chances some old employee has a box of them somewhere... one guy in particular might have more... they surface bnib sometimes. usually the epoxy ones. it's been a LONG time since i've seen a bead blast model for sale, and not new.
