Becker MidWest - July 5-7

Well, I'm out. I'm going up to Oregon then. Maybe next time. Dang, my timing is constantly off for these things.

Will see if I can clear the dates with work and wife. :)

Approximately how far is it from the Chicago area?

I'm interested - might work out for me but will have to see. If l am able to come can I bring the wife and or Jack the Labrador Retriever?

(BTW when I got home, I found the Pendleton carefully packed away in the Subaru :o)

Put me down as a possible, I might be able to swing it as part of a trip through the area to visit my family back home.

yes, it will be pet and spouse friendly, so long as they are well behaved.

I'll see what I can do, but I don't think I'll be able to make those dates. I'll make to a gathering one of these times!!!

I just realized that the travel time to E's and 1066's is the same. Wild...would have guessed longer down to TN.

Still discussing this. July is pretty busy, but that weekend could be free.

I'm heading out to Yellowstone the week before this, and thought about stopping by on the way back. Would it be okay to bring a couple non-knife people, like my uncle and cousin?

sure.
so long as they're OK with camping and cooking with fire. :D

I'd love to make that Gathering, but I have a family reunion that weekend :( Sounds like a lot of fun though. Do you know if there'll be any makers challenges? Regardless, I could probably send ya'll a few toys to play with.

By the way Rob, I feel your pain about Summer camping in a tent. Here's your solution. You can thank me later ;) ACBoot

Don, Bummer that we'll miss you, but good on you for putting family first.
There are no planned makers challenges at this one, but if you have something you want to send up for a passaround, it'd get used.

reminder/bump -- only 5 weeks to go before this one.
any ideas if folks want to do any classes?
cooking rebar with a cast iron grill?

only a month away -- need to start up a list of who really does plan on attending and what activities folks want to do (sit in the shade and drink is an acceptable activity)
