Becker MidWest - July 5-7

Me + 2.

Probably only be there for an afternoon. We will probably be camped/exhausted by then, but I really want to meet you guys.
Sitting in the shade and drinking sounds fantastic.:D

We will be coming from the west, so as the date approaches, I will probably hit you up for a phone number so we have a vague idea where we are going.:D

I have received confirmation that my schedule is free that weekend. So I plan to attend.

I'll be in a hammock.

Thanks Erik, and let me know if there is anything I can help with or bring.

I'm still trying to make this work. 50/50 at best right now...

How's the campsite / woodstove coming along?

slow - I started putting in long hours at work.
I've still got a couple weeks -- it'll get squared away.
at the moment I'm trying to convince the neighbor he wants the hay -- so I don't have to mow it!

I'm going to have to back out. I was just informed I have to work. (Ok, I don't HAVE to work, but I was specifically requested for working the fair.) Plus it is hard to turn down the $1,200 in 3 days.

I think you should mail me a magua, tweener, or RAT2 folder as an apology....

Could your bear paw like hands even FIT a magua?!

Yeah but why would anyone want to spend their money on that?
Once in a lifetime trip with my father who has been severely disabled for the last 4 years to the point that he only leaves the house MAYBE once a week.

It IS so cute though!

I just ordered a Hornet and Yuma to match my Magua and hatchet from Tabernacle Mosque Hunt.

OK folks - I need a hard count of who will be able to make it to this, or I'm going to postpone it until fall.

I wouldn't count on us.
After doing some math, we will leave Wyoming Saturday morning, and it is a 17 hour drive to Topeka.

We will probably stay in a hotel in Colorado, which would put us in your neck of the woods Sunday afternoon or evening.

I was actually pretty sure you weren't going to make it, considering how much driving you'll be doing.
OTOH, if you do take I-70 for the homeward leg instead of I-80, I'll do my best to figure out a place to meet up for a brew and some food.

That would be awesome!

My cousin wants to see CO, so I am pretty sure we will be on I-70 on the way back.

I will give you a shout when we get to your state.

give me a holler when you get to Salina -- that's about mile marker 250 -- at that point I can meet you in Manhattan (halfway between there and me), Lawrence (45 minutes East of me) or KC (an hour + change East of me)
