Becker Modifications and Inspirations Discussion Thread

Gentlemen, where it said in the title as well as throughout the thread "NO CHATTING" that was to avoid having this thread be cluttered with questions and random comments and just have a nice collection of modded knives and maybe some info about them.
However, in an effort to be a kinder, gentler, more friendly Derek, I will answer your questions.
@Rsgort: Those are pot lifter notches or firesteel notches. Not sure which one specifically you are referring to, but it is one of those.
@ Mr Spud: Clich isn't around much, so asking him won't help. For the method he did on most of his knives and then made popular, he would use a bleach/gun blue combination to achieve that effect. He has a thread detailing the process extensively that you can find by clicking on his name, then on his profile clicking "Find Latest Started Threads" and on page four or so, you will find this thread here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...er-etch-how-to-NEW-TECHNIQUE-AND-PICS-POST-25
If you find a thread that specifically requests no chatting, you can usually find a discussion thread for it for just such a purpose (for this thread that would be found here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ifications-and-Inspirations-Discussion-Thread) and a link was provided in the first post of the thread. Also, you can ask anything in the Chat thread located towards the top of the first page in the Becker forum. You can post any questions or anything at all in there without worry, and typically will get much more responses because that thread is read by almost everyone.

Pretty cool. That's a first me thinks.Been wanting to do this forever, and finally had the time this weekend. Jimping is still to be added, gonna touch up the edge, and I'm working on a new sheath.
