Becker "Move Your Butt" Challenge - May 2014

Got a couple of walks in this weekend in addition to texturing and painting my bathroom...
Sat - 2.2 mile
Sun - 2.1 mile chasing my son on his bike.
This morning did 1.6 mile on treadmill.

42.2 ttd

1/2 mile walk after weights this morning.. 36.3 ttd
 
...I'm not in the kind of shape you 15 mile runners are, but I am certainly moving my butt more than I was before I started logging the distances..

The name of the game is "Move Your Butt". Getting out and moving is all that is required. When I started running, January 2012, I set my monthly goal at a marathon per month. That's 26.2 miles. The "Move Your Butt" challenge is 50. This is a much more ambitious that many of you are setting than I did when I started. I don't know any of you personally but I'm proud of each of you for getting out and moving. I hope my milage can serve a motivation for some of you. I've been running for about 2.5 years and still remember those beginning months when it was hard to get out and run a few miles. Keep at it and you'll be able to get longer and longer distances.

Lame night in the pool....but got some serious time in the hot tub!
800m for 3 + 27.5 = 30.5 BP TTD
Took almost two weeks, but...1600m swim this evening
30.5 + 6 = 36.5 BP TTD. I don't understand it. The less I work out, the more out of shape I get. More for less...I thought that was supposed to be a good thing.....
 
...15+88=103BP for May

11 mile run today.
11+103=114BP for May.
Today's run brought my total for 2014 to 1000km. For those who don't speak km, that's 621 miles. I'm right on track for my goal of 2500km for the year.
