Becker Necker Cord Wrap picture

SanMai necker?

Yep, my wife got it for me a while back. It's great blade!

Here are some pictures of my BK11 wrapped. I'm going to experiment with this a few ways. So I'm taking pictures of different wraps.

This wrap uses standard Black Paracord (not gutted). Before wrapping, I filled the internal voids in the handle with custom cut filler pieces of 6mm thick dense foam rubber. I don't think anyone has gone this route before. You can get this material at craft stores for $1/sheet in a variety of colors. I considered using a bright color (say, red or orange) for contrast with black over wrap, but I'll try that later.

I finally got around to doing mine today. This thread was very helpful. I used the cord that came with it. It's a little harder to work with because of the thickness, but it makes for a nice grip.

The hardest part was getting both ends through the final hole so I can have a balanced lanyard.

I used all three holes and the cord is a single piece. I'm not sure of the length anymore, but I used a LONG piece and cut it off after I finished. I started at the hole nearest the blade, wrapped it towards the butt, went through one hole, formed the lanyard loop and ended it in the last hole. I tied knots on either side of the last two holes so things don't slide around. As you can see in the pic, I also added a MFS and striker so that I don't have to use the knife to scrape with. Also, I have a whistle wrapped under the duct tape on the sheath. I carry this in my right front pants pocket daily with the lanyard/MFS/Striker out and tucked into the watch pocket on my jeans so I can access the knife quickly and easily.

I did very similar to halbardier, but used standard paracord and exited at the bottom hole. I then made a small 'pinky' lanyard and finished with a walker knot. I like having the pinky finger loop to give a little more security, without adding the bulk of a full wrist lanyard. I can still use the bottle opener. Gives a decent grip, while keeping it concealable. I did also add a wide ranger band (innertube) to the sheath, which holds a firesteel nicely.

Probably a dumb question, but is that inner tube, and what's its purpose? Is it to cover the belt holster when worn around neck?

I can't comment on his thought's, but I wrap mine in cohesive tape to keep it from shifting or sliding out of my pocket. I assume the innertube(ranger band) would do the same thing......Welcome to the forum!

Thanks slapper, makes sense. I've been considering getting a necker, and reading through threads on wraps / carry options and that caught my eye.

How do you like the little Buck ? I've seen them around, looked good for the price.

I like Bucks, carry the Vantage Pro as my EDC folder. GREAT knife.

Had this photo in another thread, but since this one is wrap specific:
