That's great! I love your etch work. Got a thread anywhere showing how you do it in detail?
 
Actually, I haven't done an acid WIP thread, but the process is quite simple. First do drawings on paper of what you want, until you are satisfied with it. Then after prepping a stripped blade (clean and wipe with alcohol, let dry) you have to cover it with an acid resistant ink and let it dry. The toughest part is what comes next - do your drawing on the blade using a scribe. The tricky part is how you lay the ink, too thin and the acid eats thru at unwanted spots, too thick and it cakes, causing flakes to chip off when using the scribe. After the scribe, dunk in acid for like an hour. I use a flower vase filled with diluted 50-50 water/pcb etchant, and take the blade out after half an hour, rinse and brush the lines with a toothbrush to remove gunk, then dunk again.

LOL. It's just a motorcycle brand. If I'm the only one who has/can find one, I'll just fulfill my own request. :D

If I'd have known we could fulfill our own requests, I'd have posted the bass boat picture a couple of pages ago.
As far as the KTM motorcycle, if you wanted to be really difficult and esoteric you should've asked for a Penton pic. (Google Penton KTM relationship). KTM does sound more than hard enough to come up with though. Just don't ask for a Hodaka Combat Wombat.
 
Filling your own request is a last resort (or showing off? )
Either way, the end result is choosing another item to keep the game moving.

I want a nicely restored Combat Wombat severely. I wouldn't ride it, just want one to say I have a combat wombat.

Just realized I'm probably the only kid my age that knows what one is. :p

Looks like a Kestrel or maybe a Merlin, both of which are falconidae....

Okay...there's got to be somebody here besides Noswad0208 that has a DK64 cartridge from a game system that was discontinued in 2002 or thereabouts. :)
